One of our most recent projects is to completely refurbish and reconfigure the ground floor and basement of a incredible townhouse in Mayfair.  This includes digging down to enlarge the basement, and changing the layout of the ground floor to create a bigger living space, kitchen, entrance hallway and guest cloakroom.

This scheme, which is currently under construction, is enlarging the basement so that a new swimming pool, sauna and changing area are accommodated, transforming the property into a truly incredible home.

At ground level, the property benefits from incredibly high ceilings, so we have re-introduced regency cornices throughout to accentuate both the height, and the original classical style, and twinned that with an interior living area aesthetic that is at once both elegant and understated, but with some contemporary pieces and decoration.

This approach is continued into the kitchen, where the more traditional cream walls and white kitchen are juxtaposed with a striking purple Chadwick sofa, and original Eames chair.
