Situated in the heart of Hammersmith, the clients of this ground floor flat were in dire need of some additional bedroom space as they begun to raise a family.

As such, much of the flat was renovated and refurbished, whilst a large 'wrap-around' style extension was added to the rear to house the new kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.

The aesthetic was to be minimalist and modern, allowing the family to put their own stamp on the building as they grew. Consequently, a clean, crisp geometry was chosen, along with a very neutral palette. The rear elevation features large sliding doors, which seamlessly open into the garden, which itself has been landscaped.

The garden, much like the extension, was to be clean cut and minimal, so painted concrete borders frame the borders and lawn. A light decking area provides space for outdoor seating and dining, whilst the rich cedar fencing provides a little character.
